Can I stay on the Weight loss program  longer than 23 days ?

Yes, you can stay on the Weight loss/Step 2 phase for up to 40 days if you wish. You will then do a maintenance period (Step 3) of 30 days. If you wish to then repeat the total program you may begin again after a 2-week break.

Do I have to give up alcohol while on the program ?

If you want the program to work for you then yes, you do. Alcohol adds empty calories with no nutritional value. The body treats it as a poison and makes removing it a priority while it is doing that you are not losing fat, for some people this may be as long as 48 hours.

I don’t need to lose weight – can I just do the Detox?

Yes, you can, we have many people who do the Detox only. It is a very gentle detox -please speak to your mentor who will guide you.

I am a sweet tooth – what can I expect?

Sugar is in almost everything we eat, it is very difficult to avoid. When it is removed from your diet you need to be prepared for a slight withdrawal reaction. This may occur around the 3rd or 4th day.  it is very important to stay in touch with your Mentor who will have tips to assist you.

Are the supplements necessary?

We’ve been running this awesome program for over 11 years now-so we know what works. The short answer is yes. Because you are eating from a modified calorie meal plan, the supplements are necessary to support your daily intake of vitamins and minerals. So yes -you definitely need the recommended supplements.

Are there any specific people who can’t follow the program?

If you have any concerns about being on a low-calorie, low carbohydrate eating plan you must check with your professional health care provider. Also, if you are on prescription medication you must check with your professional health care provider. Children under 15 years of age cannot do this program, nor can those who are pregnant or breastfeeding. Please read the medical disclaimer at the foot of our Policy & Usage page.

When do I need to check with my doctor first ?

When you feel unsure or have any concerns at all about the effects that a  low carbohydrate, modified calorie fat loss plan may have on you. If you are taking prescription medications of any type or if you are diabetic for example. Please note that we are not medically qualified and cannot give medical advice. You must check with your professional medical practitioner before starting the program.

Does the program use meal replacement shakes ? 

No, shakes are not part of the program. Our program uses only real food.

Do I really have to drink so much water ?

The water is vital in flushing toxins and fat from your body. Low water intake will result in disappointing fat loss. Also low water intake will cause your body to hold onto liquid which compounds the slow loss. 

Is the program suitable for vegetarians?

Yes, we have a vegetarian option available.

Is the program suitable for Shift workers?

We have had many of our customers achieve their goals with the program on Shift work. Before you start, we recommend you discuss your concerns with your mentor who will recommend strategies to help you achieve the best possible results.
